Music
Music is at the heart of our life and worship at Quincy Point Congregational Church. We offer a wide variety of music during worship from week to week from classic to contemporary. We are always looking for new people who are interested in making "Joyful Noise Unto God" to join our groups.
QPCC has a Choir, an Adult Praise band and Handbell ensemble. See their descriptions below:
Chancel Choir
Sings most Sundays (September-June) and is open to high school aged youth through adult. The Chancel Choir also sings on special services including Christmas Eve and a Thanksgiving Ecumenical Worship joint with the St. Joseph's Parish.
Chancel Choir Practices
Thursday Evening at 7:30 p.m.
in the Music Room at QPCC on the second Floor
Point Handbell Ringers
The melodious rings and chimes of this ensemble lead worship approximately once a month throughout the year (September- June). This ministry began at Quincy Point Congregational Church in the Fall of 2007 and has grown so much that we even had to remove a bench in 2018 to provide enough space for performances.
Point Handbell Practices
Thursday Evening at 6:15 p.m.
in the upstairs Fellowship Lounge at QPCC on the second Floor
CrossRoads
Is our Adult Praise Band that originally started as a house band for a church, "Rock and Roll" fundraiser. The band has become an active ministry in the church and focuses now on contemporary praise and worship music. This band also occasionally helps the Youth practice instruments for special performances.
